My friend Amit asked me to be his best man in his wedding. Of course I said yes. So when he told me the wedding was going to be in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, I knew it would be a very unique and memorable wedding.This album contains pictures from my first week in Dubai, before all the wedding festivities started. I basically did a lot of the tourist things, and helped Amit out with some of the wedding logistics. Dubai turned out to be an amazing city. Enjoy the photos...

I headed out to Mt. Auburn Cemetery after work on a fine spring day. This was the first time I actually walked around it, and after 30 minutes I had barely seen a fraction of all the trees and ponds and historic grave stones, but the sun was setting, so I'll have to head back out another day soon.

Let the wedding festivities begin!The real excitement started with Meenal's Sangeet (a night of music and dancing) on Tuesday night, with both sides attending. Wednesday was reserved for time at the temple with Amit's family. That evening was Amit's Aacha-Sathiaro, a pre-wedding ceremony to prepare the groom for the big day.I'll let the pictures tell the story...(The pictures from the actual wedding ceremony will be posted shortly in a 3rd and final album.)

We all gathered at the beautiful Flamingo Beach Resort in Guanacaste Costa Rica to witness the wedding of Jon and Donielle. What a spectacular setting for an awesome wedding. The week was filled with great activities, from chillin' on the beach to white water rafting and diving to a canopy tour on the zip lines with monkeys and iguanas watching our every move and unforgettable sunsets! Thanks so much Jon and Donielle for inviting us! Congrats to the newlyweds!
