Bad News Bears
I was just watching the original the other day. Talk about a classic summer movie. and now they are coming out with the re-make. I hadn't planned on seeing it, figuring it would be another re-make bust, but after reading this article on ESPN.com I just might have to go see it now. Plus I can relive those good ol' days of little league baseball.

Superstud!
I saw Paul Feig give a book reading last night from his latest and greatest book, Superstud; or How I Became a 24 Year-Old Virgin. The guy was hilarious! Better known as the writter of the little known, but cult followed, TV show Freaks and Geeks, Paul Feig gave a clever, if not embarrasing perspective of a sexually frustrated adolescent boy growing up in a time when people just didn't express themselves outwardly, like they do today. Receiting some often shameful events, he told of his countless boyhood adventures, all the while comically relating to every young male in the audience. Two bonus episodes of Freaks and Geeks topped off the night. I'm definitely going to put the show on my netflix queue and probably buy the book too.
On a more somber note, my thoughts and prayers go out to Londoners affected by today's bombings. May we rid the world of terrorists everywhere!
