Survivors
I'm not talking about the lame reality show. This is the real deal.
Lewis and Floorwax interviewed Troy Driscoll this morning. He's the 15 year old boy who survived six days at sea off the coast of South Carolina with his best friend, 18 year old, Josh Long. The pair, who drifted over 100 miles on a little 14 foot Sunfish sailboat, had no food or fresh water, but survived on jelly fish and a little salt water. Just days after his rescue, Troy told his story very well on the radio and understandably seemed very happy to be alive. Truly an amazing tale!
One interesting note was that while looking for a link to a detailed account of the story on google, I seemed to come across more international sources for some reason, so here's one from South Africa, and one from Canada.
