Industrial that is...After visiting the butterfly place I figured I'd swing into Lowell and check out the Lowell National Historic Park since I was in the neighborhood. I really wanted to tour the Boot Cotton Mills Museum. The musuem offered an excellent glimpse into working life during the industrial revolution in one of the larger cotton mills in the north east. It was fascinating to see the looms weave the yarn into long yards of quality fabric that we still use today. The inovativeness and technological advances really were amazing for their time. And to think it all started almost 200 years ago.
