April showers bring May flowers...
True to the ol' phrase, Saturday was all about rain, so I headed indoors to the Butterfly Place to walk amidst the hundreds of butterflies fluttering around the beautiful plants and flowers. It was fun to see all the little kids fascinated with the butterflies. It was also good to refresh my memory on the different stages of life of a butterfly: from egg to caterpiller to the pupa inside the crysalis and finally a butterfly.
And did you know that the silkworm, well actually a caterpillar, only eats mulberry leaves.
It proved a challenge photographing the butterflies, but I did manage to get a few good shots.
Think sun!
