travishamockery
Granted I haven't even seen an episode yet, but from the looks of the commercial I saw yesterday for it, the new tv show The Office (the American version) looks like it will be the definition of travishamockery!
Trying to copy the BBC hit The Office, created by comic genius Ricky Gervais, NBC has once again shown how blase we Americans can be. Why can't we just stick to Seinfeld and the Simpsons for good ol' American comedy? We can't and shouldn't copy the british knack for dry wit and humor. We may have improved on their food and dentistry, but we sure won't be able to live up to the brilliant writting of Gervais.
I plan on checking out at least one episode, but only to confirm my present prognostications of sheer American tv mediocrity. And maybe I'll be proven wrong, although I doubt it.
on another note, I'm currently captioning all my photos from my Dubai trip, and hope to have an extended post on the whole journey soon.
